CHARLIE FARRELL

 Charlie Farrell is a curator and researcher currently based in Saint Louis, Missouri. Farrell is interested in contemporary and modern art of the African diaspora, museology, and collaborative curatorial methodologies. She currently serves as the 2022-2024 Romare Bearden Graduate Museum Fellow at the Saint Louis Art Museum. While at the Museum, she works with the development, learning & engagement, and curatorial departments on a host of projects.

She has curated Wangechi Mutu: My Cave Call and Romare Bearden: Resonances. In addition to curatorial projects, Farrell is an art writer interested in critical critique of local artists. This practice allows her to understand and appreciate all St. Louis has to offer.
